Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #5

Everyone knows how much I enjoy all the card challenges out there. I consider them a test of how well I'm learning and how far I still need to go.

So imagine how excited I was on Saturday when I surfed to the Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge and saw that this week's movie selection was Memoirs of a Geisha! Love that movie!!! So I'm sitting there thinking what kind of card I could do and, BLAM!, I realize I don't have any asian themed paper, stamps, nothing! HUGE BUMMER!

Anywho, I was at my local Michael's store yesterday and I walked down the aisle to see what rubber stamps they had, and what did I see but a Inkadinkado stamp display and there was this asian stamp set yelling at me! I scooped it up, and as soon as Mia fell asleep last night, I put together a simple card.

I kept it short (and since Mia doesn't sleep for long periods of time) and sweet. It's an okay card, I'm not in love with it, but I think it came out ok.

Asian card details:
Stamps: Asian Influences (Inkadinkado)
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White (SU!)
Ink: StazOn Jet Black
Accessories: Versamark, embossing powder, ribbon
I hope you've enjoyed my card. Thanks for looking!
